Copyright Applications

In accordance with the international laws on Intellectual property, Copyright consent must be formally obtained in writing for the reproduction of any Dame Laura Knight or her husband Harold Knight RA works from the Estate of Dame Laura Knight DBE RA RWS.

COMPANIES, BODIES OR INDIVIDUALS REQUIRING ARTIST COPYRIGHT CONSENT

on Dame Laura Knight DBE RA RWS and or her husband Harold Knight RA works:

• For reproduction of Artistic work please click on and complete Form 1  for images of the artists’ paintings, drawings etches etc.

• For reproduction of extracts from the Artist’s Literary work please click on and complete Form 2 for extracts from books, articles, correspondence written by the artists.

After completing all sections, the Completed Forms may be sent directly to Bridgeman Art Library, London on behalf of The Trustees of the Estate of Dame Laura Knight by clicking on “ Submit” button on the bottom of the Form, or by post to:-

20% of all copyright fees received are distributed to The Artists’ General Benevolent Institution Reg. Charity No. 212667 set up to help poor, distressed and aged artists, their widows, their dependents and also The Artist’s Orphan Fund.

In the 2018/2019 AGBI Artists General Benevolent Institute financial accounts The Trustees of the Estate of Dame Laura Knight were identified as being the 3rd largest donator and the 2nd largest donator in the last financial year 2018/2019.

COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT: Any entity reproducing and displaying the works of Dame Laura Knight and or Harold Knight without the Estate’s consent are not only denying the above Charity and four other worthy beneficiaries of the Estate of their rightful income; but are also committing an offence and are liable too prosecution under the international laws of Copyright.
