WH Davies the Welsh poet who was introduced to the Knights by fellow Icelandic poet Hamar. WH Davies became great friends of the Knights visiting them many times whilst they were in Cornwall during the summers of 1920 -1922. The Knights also visited WH Davies in his rooms I Great Russell Street, London.
WHD later moved to some mews in Bruton Street then finally to East Grinstead, where he married a local person.
WH Davies is seen wearing a scarf held together with a ring, both lent by Laura as referred to in Laura’s autobiography MOAL p.180
