From research by Timothy Wilcox this painting was originally exhibited in 1918 as Two girls and a dog.
Phyllis Vipond Crocker and Marjory Taylor two of the artist’s favourite Cornish models on the rocks just outside Lamorna, near Laura’s studio hut.
Laura’s dog Tip again appears in this work, who she referred to in her autobiography OPGP
